4 Delicious Juices for Thyroid Health

When you have a thyroid condition like hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s Disease, it can make it hard for you to manage your weight. There are also a lot of fruits and vegetables that are really good for reducing the severity of your symptoms. When you juice, you are able to get even more fruits and veggies each day and have a healthy juice to help with your weight management as well. Here are some different types of juicing recipes that are great for your thyroid.

Sunrise Thyroid Juice

This is a juice that is perfect to be enjoyed early in the morning. It is a simple juice with just four main ingredients. This includes a nice combination of fruits and vegetables that will be good for you and your thyroid. To make the sunrise thyroid juice, you want to use 1-2 oranges, carrots, a lemon, and a red bell pepper. Make sure you wash the produce or chop it into pieces, leaving off any peel or skin. Add the produce to the juicer one at a time. You can add more citrus fruit if it still isn’t sweet enough for you.

Pomegranate Smoothie

As a smoothie, you want to remove the skin from your avocado and add the flesh to the blender, along with frozen blueberries, pomegranate seeds, and coconut water. You can use coconut milk if you want it a little creamier. If you want to turn it into a juice instead, simply use your juicer and leave out the avocado. However, if you can add in the avocado, you will get even more nutrition for your thyroid. 

Seasonal Thyroid Juice

This thyroid juice is perfect for the coming Fall months. It uses a blend of fruit and seasonings that are often found in the fall, and it will remind you of a fresh harvest. You will add in cranberries, oranges, lemons, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger to the juice, along with some purified water for a refreshing combination. 

Fruit and Vegetable Juice

This thyroid juice has a wonderful combination of fruits and veggies that are nutritious and refreshing. They include plenty of vitamin A and antioxidants. This is also good if you have hypothyroidism since it doesn’t contain any of the vegetables that you aren’t supposed to consume. With this juice, you will combine an apple, celery, beet, carrot, pineapple chunks, and citrus of your choosing for added flavor.
